Archive a tenant application
Move an application to archived when no longer active.
Before you start
Staff review and invitation changes require tenant Edit within property/application scope. Applicants use their own valid invitation or the enabled public intake.
Follow these steps
- Open the application workspace or the applicant’s invitation link.
- Move an application to archived when no longer active.
- Archiving changes the application state. Retention metadata and scheduled processing govern later removal; an archive action does not mean evidence is immediately erased. The default application retention option is 180 days, subject to workspace policy and holds.
- Submit once, then check the application reference, decision or invitation state.

Check it worked
The application, invitation or decision is retained against the intended property and applicant.
If something does not look right
If the expected result is missing, check the saved record, the current workspace and the action’s permissions. Record the exact validation message; do not repeat a state-changing action until you know whether the first attempt saved.
Questions and answers
Does disabling public intake revoke invitations?
No. Open public intake and valid recipient-bound invitations are separate paths. Revoke an invitation explicitly when it must no longer be usable.
What happens when I resend an invitation?
The new invitation replaces the earlier usable token. Use the latest message and verify the intended property and recipient before sending.
