Accounting report centre overview
Navigate the full Accounting report catalogue and choose the correct statement, ledger, ageing, tax, banking or management report.
What this feature does
Navigate the full Accounting report catalogue and choose the correct statement, ledger, ageing, tax, banking or management report. It forms part of Britixo Enterprise CRM's Accounting & Bookkeeping module and uses the module's permission-aware controller, status and mapping flow rather than a generic spreadsheet process.
How the module flow works
The controller exposes dedicated actions for every visible report and a shared view_report renderer. Reports can also be converted to PDF through the module's report PDF action.
Some source modules may be inactive, making related report sections empty or irrelevant.
Use General Ledger, Journal and Transaction Detail to explain statement totals rather than editing reports externally.
Step-by-step workflow
- Open Reports.
- Choose the report family that answers the question.
- Set the exact date or as-of date.
- Select account, customer, vendor, budget or comparison filters where provided.
- Choose cash or accrual context consistently.
- Review detail behind summary totals.
- Export or print with filters and generation date recorded.
Important fields and decisions
What happens after completion
After the action is saved, Britixo keeps the Accounting record connected to its source and updates the visible status or ledger data supported by this workflow. Review the saved result rather than relying only on a success message. Where the action posts accounting data, total debits and credits must balance and the accounts must match the approved mapping or manual selection.
- Open the saved record and confirm its final status.
- Review the source reference and every debit and credit line where ledger data was created.
- Use the relevant register, ageing, reconciliation or report to verify the wider effect.
Controls, checks and common mistakes
- A report is only as complete as converted ledger data.
- Use an as-of date for balance reports and a period for activity reports.
- Reconcile control accounts before external use.
- Protect exported financial data.
- Use the least destructive correction available and record the reason for material changes.
- Do not bypass a permission, approval or closed-period control by changing unrelated data.
