Understand a deal’s fit score
Read the score and its explanation without confusing qualification fit with a sales forecast.
Where to goSales CRM → Deals → Open a deal → Deal fit score
Before you start
Use your own authorised staff account in the intended Britixo workspace. The Sales CRM module must be available and your role must include the permissions stated above. Existing leads, customers, communications and customer portal pages retain their normal access rules.
Follow these steps
- Open a deal you are authorised to view. Find Deal fit score in its detail panel.
- Expand Why this score? to see every active scoring rule. Each explanation shows its contribution, that it did not match, or that a referenced field is unavailable.
- Review the deal’s details and public custom fields when the assessment appears unexpected. If you have Edit permission, update the relevant information and reopen the detail.
- Ask your workspace administrator to review a scoring rule when the business criterion itself needs changing.
Behavior and limits
- The score is the sum of matching rule points, capped from 0 to 100. Positive and negative rules are supported.
- A score is an explainable qualification assessment. It is not a prediction of winning and does not automatically change the deal probability.
- A dash means no active scoring rules are configured. Zero means configured rules produced a score of zero or less after capping.
- Rule explanations never disclose values stored in private custom fields. Rules using a field that becomes private are unavailable to all viewers.
- Scoring never grants access to another owner’s deal.
Check it worked
- Expand the explanation and compare the matching contributions with the displayed capped score.
- Check that the deal’s separate probability and forecast category still reflect the sales owner’s assessment.
Troubleshooting
- A changed configuration affects the next assessment; reopen the deal to refresh it.
- If a rule is marked unavailable, contact your administrator with the rule name. Do not copy private customer details into a support request.
