Use the Accounting dashboard
Review conversion status, income and sales summaries and the high-level accounting position from the module dashboard.
What this feature does
Review conversion status, income and sales summaries and the high-level accounting position from the module dashboard. It forms part of Britixo Enterprise CRM's Accounting & Bookkeeping module and uses the module's permission-aware controller, status and mapping flow rather than a generic spreadsheet process.
How the module flow works
The controller loads dashboard conversion-status data and separate income and sales chart datasets. The dashboard is therefore a monitoring layer over the underlying ledger and conversion tables.
A source invoice, payment or expense can exist in Britixo CRM without being represented in Accounting if automatic conversion is disabled or a mapping is missing. The dashboard helps locate that gap.
For formal numbers, continue to Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Trial Balance or General Ledger reports.
Step-by-step workflow
- Open Accounting → Dashboard.
- Review conversion-status cards and note any large unconverted group.
- Inspect income and sales charts for the selected period.
- Open the related Transactions group when a card indicates records awaiting conversion.
- Use the report centre to confirm any figure that will be used externally.
- Investigate mapping or permission issues before forcing manual entries.
Important fields and decisions
What happens after completion
After the action is saved, Britixo keeps the Accounting record connected to its source and updates the visible status or ledger data supported by this workflow. Review the saved result rather than relying only on a success message. Where the action posts accounting data, total debits and credits must balance and the accounts must match the approved mapping or manual selection.
- Open the saved record and confirm its final status.
- Review the source reference and every debit and credit line where ledger data was created.
- Use the relevant register, ageing, reconciliation or report to verify the wider effect.
Controls, checks and common mistakes
- Dashboard totals depend on configuration and conversion completeness.
- Do not treat a chart as a reconciled financial statement.
- Use consistent dates when comparing dashboard and report results.
- Check for optional-module transactions only when those modules are active.
- Use the least destructive correction available and record the reason for material changes.
- Do not bypass a permission, approval or closed-period control by changing unrelated data.
