Before you start

Required access: Manage taxpayer profiles / source-scope administration. The module must be enabled and its installed version ready for your workspace. Select the intended taxpayer, authority and period before changing a record.

How to isolate a taxpayer’s source records

  1. Select Taxpayer and Source system: Sales / invoices, Accounting ledger or Payroll periods.
  2. Choose Column equals value and supply Source column and Required value, or the permitted Entire tenant source mode.
  3. Choose Create draft scope.
  4. Have the permitted independent reviewer use Verify in Scope register. Check that the exact source and taxpayer are correct.
  5. Generate a controlled projection or source view to confirm only the intended records are included.

Controls and limits

  • Entire tenant source is for single-taxpayer tenants only.
  • Unverified or ambiguous scopes block downstream calculations; a view filter is not a substitute for verified source isolation.

Check the result

Reopen the affected record and confirm the taxpayer, period, saved values and status. For external actions, inspect the actual authority acknowledgement or settlement evidence; a local saved or queued state is not acceptance.

If you cannot continue

Read the displayed validation or readiness message. Check the module version, role, source scope, authority, period and current approval evidence. If another person changed the record, refresh and review the current version. Give support the screen, error wording and correlation reference; keep passwords, one-time codes and tax identifiers out of public messages.
