How to check US tax capability and system readiness
Use this guide in your Britixo workspace. Follow the Compliance Centre → States & Jurisdictions → System Readiness workflow in Britixo to check us tax capability and system readiness.
Before you start
Required access: View US Tax Compliance. The module must be enabled and its installed version ready for your workspace. Select the intended taxpayer, authority and period before changing a record.
How to check US tax capability and system readiness
- Review Authority readiness and Compliance calendar in Compliance Centre.
- Open States & Jurisdictions and inspect the capability for the authority, tax type, return, tax year and processing year.
- Open System Readiness. Inspect Runtime readiness, Source integration readiness, Official-source connectors, Production gates and Outbox & job queue.
- Resolve missing prerequisites before preparing or queueing a return.
Controls and limits
- The module contains controlled preparation and orchestration screens; it does not imply every federal, state or local filing is production-enabled.
- Queued, transmitted and authority-accepted are distinct states. Production flags cannot substitute for actual connector approval and acceptance evidence.
Check the result
Reopen the affected record and confirm the taxpayer, period, saved values and status. For external actions, inspect the actual authority acknowledgement or settlement evidence; a local saved or queued state is not acceptance.
If you cannot continue
Read the displayed validation or readiness message. Check the module version, role, source scope, authority, period and current approval evidence. If another person changed the record, refresh and review the current version. Give support the screen, error wording and correlation reference; keep passwords, one-time codes and tax identifiers out of public messages.
