Before you startOnly authorised administrators should access the server. A password reset changes the credential used by dependent connections.

Follow these steps

  1. Select the intended VPS and open Access.
  2. Choose the available console or connection action. Generate console access when requested and use the returned access information.
  3. If a password reset is necessary, open Reset VPS password and review the confirmation before proceeding.
  4. Use Show or hide password and the permitted copy control to transfer a returned credential privately to your password manager or connection tool.
  5. Pay attention to the displayed expiry or one-time availability. Do not place credentials in a support ticket or screenshot.
  6. Update affected connections after a reset and verify that the authorised connection works.

Common questions

Can I keep reopening a one-time password?

Do not assume it will remain available. Follow the display and expiry information returned for that action.

What if console generation fails?

Check the action result and Activity. Contact support with the server reference and error, without sending credentials.
