Before you startRestoring a snapshot or reinstalling can replace server data. Confirm the intended server, recovery point and effect before proceeding.

Follow these steps

  1. Open Snapshots to view the snapshots available for the selected server and inspect Snapshot details.
  2. Use Create snapshot when you want to create an available recovery point and the provider permits it. Wait for completion and verify its status.
  3. To restore, select the intended snapshot, choose Restore snapshot and review the consequences and confirmation phrase before confirming.
  4. Use Delete snapshot only for a recovery point you intentionally want to remove. Check the exact snapshot before confirming.
  5. For a reinstall, open the available Reinstall action, select the required operating-system image and read the data-replacement warning before confirming.
  6. In Recovery, use Attach ISO or Detach ISO when supported. Select the image or complete the fields displayed for the operation.
  7. Check Activity and the final server state after each operation. Confirm that services and data match the intended recovery outcome.
