Before you start

Required access: Manage tax settings for registration; Prepare for workflows; action-specific review/filing permissions. The module must be enabled and its installed version ready for your workspace. Select the intended taxpayer, authority and period before changing a record.

How to manage Pillar 2 compliance

  1. Open the regime and read Supported control surface and its current connector status.
  2. Select the taxpayer, choose Enable for this taxpayer where appropriate and Save. Enter Reference type and Registration / reference, then Store securely.
  3. Under Controlled compliance workflow select Taxpayer, Period reference, Tax year and Due date; choose Create controlled workflow.
  4. Open the workflow. Choose an available Workflow action, provide its required reason and select Apply.
  5. If the regime requires an approved external route, complete it through that route. Enter Official acknowledgement / filing reference, Filing time (UTC), Official outcome and Notes, then choose Record official filing evidence.
  6. Inspect Workflow evidence and the saved outcome.

Controls and limits

  • A controlled workflow is not automatically a direct electronic filing service. Follow the regime’s displayed capability and production gate.
  • Submitted / awaiting authority confirmation differs from Accepted / acknowledgement received. Record only the outcome supported by the official evidence.

Check the result

Reopen the affected record and confirm the taxpayer, period, saved values and status. For external actions, inspect the actual authority acknowledgement or settlement evidence; a local saved or queued state is not acceptance.

If you cannot continue

Read the displayed validation or readiness message. Check the module version, role, source scope, authority, period and current approval evidence. If another person changed the record, refresh and review the current version. Give support the screen, error wording and correlation reference; keep passwords, one-time codes and tax identifiers out of public messages.
