How to monitor portfolio risk and tax deadlines
Use this guide in your Britixo workspace. Follow the Accountant Portfolio; Obligations workflow in Britixo to monitor portfolio risk and tax deadlines.
Before you start
Required access: View UK Tax Centre; Export tax records for CSV. The module must be enabled and its installed version ready for your workspace. Select the intended taxpayer, authority and period before changing a record.
How to monitor portfolio risk and tax deadlines
- Open Accountant Portfolio and filter Risk or Taxpayer / client.
- Follow Obligations, Approvals, Messages or Profile for the relevant taxpayer.
- On Obligations filter Regime, Status and Taxpayer; review period, due date, received date and Last sync.
- Use VAT or Income Tax synchronisation to refresh authoritative obligations. Choose Export CSV if permitted.
Controls and limits
- Open, overdue and fulfilled states depend on recorded HMRC evidence and dates.
- A missing obligation may indicate an unsynchronised profile; do not invent a deadline from an empty list.
Check the result
Reopen the affected record and confirm the taxpayer, period, saved values and status. For external actions, inspect the actual authority acknowledgement or settlement evidence; a local saved or queued state is not acceptance.
If you cannot continue
Read the displayed validation or readiness message. Check the module version, role, source scope, authority, period and current approval evidence. If another person changed the record, refresh and review the current version. Give support the screen, error wording and correlation reference; keep passwords, one-time codes and tax identifiers out of public messages.
