Before you start

Use your own authorised staff account in the intended Britixo workspace. The Sales CRM module must be available and your role must include the permissions stated above. Existing leads, customers, communications and customer portal pages retain their normal access rules.

Follow these steps

  1. Create products in the native Items area first, including their descriptions, units and applicable taxes.
  2. Select New price book. Enter a recognisable name, select its currency and leave Availability as Active.
  3. Search the catalogue and add each required product. Enter its base unit price in the selected currency. Add quantity tiers and product relationships when needed.
  4. Choose the approval policy. Every quotation requires a different reviewer by default; threshold approval must be selected and configured explicitly.
  5. Save the book. Open an opportunity in the same currency to prepare a quotation.
  6. To stop new use, reopen the book, set Availability to Retired and save. Keep the existing book and quote records for their history.

Behavior and limits

  • A workspace supports 50 books, including retired books. Each book contains 1–100 different native products. Names must be unique within a currency.
  • A used book keeps its currency. Create a separate book for another currency; there is no automatic exchange-rate conversion.
  • Book prices are independent of native catalogue rates and warehouse margin settings. Existing items and estimates keep their own values.
  • Changing any book setting increments its version. Existing quote terms remain recorded; old drafts and pending quotes must be refreshed before further approval.
  • Ordinary sellers see active books only. Administrators can inspect and reactivate retired books.

Check it worked

  • Confirm the book card shows its currency, active state and version.
  • Open Configure price book and check the saved products and approval settings.

Troubleshooting

  • No Products & pricing tab usually means native Items View is unavailable to your account.
  • If a product is missing, confirm that it exists in the native catalogue and search its description. Search shows up to 40 matches.
  • A concurrent-edit warning means someone changed the book. Reopen it and apply your intended changes to the current version.
